Yeah, I have used 4imprint dozens of times- best price and decent quality. If you are looking for quality pieces, find a local hipster print shot for screen prints. My local print shop just started printing on locally made goods, high end etsy looking stuff. I have loved every piece but pricey. More on reddit.com

April 24, 2024I honestly don't understand the 4Imprint commercials. Please explain them to me.
To use a meme/movie quote, they're "trying to make fetch a thing" but "it's never going to be a thing." The premise is "if you want to be certain about your purchase, 4imprint is the only way you could be certain about the quality, because we're just that good," it's "there's certain and then there's 4imprint certain" kind of like "there's good at basketball and then there's Michael Jordan good at basketball" and "there's popular and there's Beetles popular" and similar "top of their level" qualifiers of how good something is. The problem is that all of those are "natural grass roots understanding of quality" whereas this is "AstroTurf forced insistence on quality" where "you can be certain but unless you're 4imprint certain you're basically 50/50 if that, because we're telling you we're that good" and it's just disingenuous. Thank-you for attending my brief lecture on the analysis of 4imprint marketing and why it fails conceptually. This will be on next week's quiz. Tomorrow we'll be going over the many failings of Liberty Mutual so be sure to read up on the chapter before next class. More on reddit.com

These dopey commercials feature random people being asked if they are not just certain about some random thing, but are they “4Imprint certain.”
But, I just don’t get it. 4Imprint is a custom swag company - they’ll slap your company or team logo on mugs, t-shirts, notebooks, etc. Is reliability a particular problem in the custom swag industry? Like more so than other industries? It doesn’t make any sense to me. If it was, say, a commercial for a shipping company that had a 99.999% successful delivery rate, it might make sense to create an ad campaign highlighting its reliability. Wouldn’t it be better for a custom swag company to highlight the quality or creativity of their work? I mean I guess consistent quality is what they’re getting at, but it just seems like an odd attribute for a custom swag company to focus on.
