I have a room that’s about 50ft perimeter (11.4’x13.6’) and I want a continuous source of warm white lighting to go around the whole ceiling to use as the main light source. I don’t care for rgb or anything other than 3000K warm white lighting, but if there are cheap options with rgb and 3000K while also being 50ft I’m open to those as well.
My initial thought was to use led light strips with diffuser channels, but that came out expensive and I would have to find a way to cut the aluminum channels to meet at the corners. Since I don’t own a miter saw to do that easily, I wanted to avoid that.
After doing some more research, I stumbled upon COB light strips which seem to be a cheaper alternative while providing similar results.
I found these on Amazon that seem to be 1 continuous strip of 50ft lighting which seems perfect for what I want to do. However, it looks like it’s using AC power instead of DC and advertising it as solving the problem of voltage drop for long lengths. Are there any risks or disadvantages of this or should I go ahead and try them out?
Other alternative is getting 2 25ft and connecting them at one corner of the room branching away from each other and connected to 1 power source.
Any other ideas or suggestions?

Hi folks, I'm trying to get a very smooth look from some 45 degree angled diffuser channel. From what I've seen it looks like 60 led/m and up will get me the look I want, but I'm struggling to find LED kits in that length. Can anyone point me to a good set that is at least 50 feet long?
