So the other day my old Vizio P50-C1 died after lasting an impressive 7 years. My primary use case will be gaming on my PS5 and Series X which is why I'm looking for something with at least a 120Hz display and two or more HDMI 2.1 ports.
I was originally leaning towards to the Hisense U7K since it's gotten great reviews especially for the features vs price, but I saw a bunch of posts saying that Hisense quality control was poor so panel lottery would be very hit or miss.
Then I started looking into the Samsung QN85CD but then people were trashing it for its ADS panel. Basically all of my first choices were models this sub, and the automod, are warning against.
A lot of comments other posts are all pointing to the LG C3 which looks stellar but I'm still weary of OLED burn in even with modern preventative measures. If I'm spending $1000+ on a TV I don't wanna have to be constantly mindful of how I use it, especially for something like gaming where there are static HUD elements. I know Best Buy's extended warranty covers burn in, but at that point my budget blows out to $1700+.
