I'm looking for a wide and deep tabletop that I can put my two monitors (on arms) and my desktop on, the problem is that the desks I'm seeing on Ikea are either not wide enough (63"x30"), or not deep enough (74"x26").
I want a deeper desk since I like resting my forearms on the edge of the desk and if I did that on a desk that isn't deep enough then I'd have to push my keyboard too close to the monitor. Another reason I want a deeper desk is so I'm far enough away from my monitor.
Has anyone found a desk that is both wide and deep and doesn't break the bank ($160 USD/ $200 CAD budget)?
Thanks! -K3K
I'm looking for a top for my desk that has a nice wood style that fits as close to 72" x 30". I'm having trouble finding something at IKEA or Home Depot or something. Usually it's 72" x 25" or 60" x 30". I'm looking for 30-32" depth, and anything 70+". I'd appreciate any advice or links to table tops.
I’ve looked at sit/stand desks but I can’t pull the trigger on a 900 dollar desk rn, any recommendations on where I could find something like this style?
I cannot decide between 25" vs 30" depth desktop. I think I would like the extra space but it decently more expensive. Anyone have experience with the depths and notice any shortcomings or anything?
Took a trip to Ikea last weekend but my wife won an argument so we got a new dresser instead of a table top since only one could fit in the car.
I have the Alex and the legs, are there any good value alternatives for tops that I could order online or pickup at a Lowes or Home Depot to continue with building the desk? I checked Lowes and Home Depot out the cheaper stuff (around $120) was all unfinished and I'm not sure what all goes into finishing butcher's block.
Thanks!
