That won’t work. USB-to-serial exists because USB devices can be just about anything, and drivers are built into the OS for common devices like serial adapters, floppy drives, etc. Serial-to-USB would require active conversion, with the knowledge of what you are plugging in. You’d need drivers that know how to talk to a floppy drive plugged in that way. More on reddit.com

Hello, I have the case Fractal Design Define 7XL and my mobo does not have the usb 3.1 gen2 port
so I want to buy a pci express card in order to use the usbc port in the front panel of the case.
I need to use the port with my oneplus usbc DAC cable (this one amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PFT2HNP) for my headphones.
I found 3 solutions (I would like to solve the problem with the minimum expense):
