I read about a 90 day free trial for Sam's Club when debating between Sam's and Costco. How does one go about acquiring one of these? I tried to register on their website, but it didn't mention it. Customer service e-mail hasn't gotten back to me. I'm really looking for appliances, and don't want to bite the bullet if they don't have what I want at a significantly better price. Anyone been through this and have ideas?

I have been with the company for 5 years and I have never heard of this. We do allow anyone to come in and check out the club, however to make purchases you would have to purchase a membership. It is 100% refundable so you can get your money back at any point within the year. If you are looking at appliances I suggest spending the extra money on a plus membership, earn the cash rewards since that is a large purchase, then when the rewards become available (in 10 months) cash them out, refund your membership if it really wasn't worth it for you, and there is no risk.
