Last week after I had updated the bios with the recent update that was released, it changed from the usual 40 or A0 depending on whether it was a cold or warm boot to a constant 9E all the time.
The manual is not very helpful and just simply states that it is reserved for future use. Has anyone had this and should I be concerned?

I have a asus rog x570 crosshair viii hero motherboard.
This is a brand new pc and the Q code shows "9E". What does it mean? Is it okay?
Built a new computer with the x570-e over the weekend. The system boots and seemingly runs fine. However the motherboard always shows q-code 9E. The manual lists the description as "reserved for future ami codes." This leads me to several questions:
What q-code is expected when everything works properly? I feel like there should be a "no problems" q-code.
What are AMI codes? What AMI code does 9E represent? I can't find this information on the Asus website.
Ultimately is there a problem with my system? I don't want to run the computer if there is a serious problem.
Thanks for looking at my post. I appreciate any help!
