Just saw Hamilton with Leslie Odom Jr
I saw it at the beginning of Treys run - and it was pretty rough but I chalked it up to him still getting used to the part. I don’t know about your performance but at mine it felt like he was just speed running every song and wanted to get off the stage as soon as possible. It’s possible that this is his interpretation of Hamilton (someone who is always acting like they’re running out of time) and I think it is pretty unique nuance but he wasn’t able to pull it off fully so it just felt really rushed and off pace from the rest of the cast. Burr killed it tho! I think I had Jared Dixon and he was amazing. More on reddit.com

So Leslie was absolutely incredible as I expected, but I have to say I was a little disappointed in the rest of the cast. This is my fourth time seeing Hamilton, just for context. I never saw the original cast, but every other cast I saw I thought was phenomenal. I did like the Eliza in the show, but I felt like the Angelica and Peggy were not up to the same vocal standards as any of the others that I had seen. Also, I was excited to see Trey Curtis as Hamilton, but his performance felt a little bit flat and didn’t have the vulnerability that I’ve come to expect from the character. Has anyone else seen it recently and have any thoughts?

Agree about Trey. I literally wondered if it was an understudy and went back to double check. Bummed that he was not a stronger match to Leslie. I thought Angelica was outstanding and Eliza also very good. She is very different from Philippa Soo but that also made it interesting to me. Generally I was pleased with the rest of the cast and the ensemble amazing
