February 14, 2025 - My son and I were walking in Central Park and my son had an ice cream cone. Nathan Lane bumped into my son and knocked his ice cream on ground. I noticed who he was and was expecting him to make a joke and say sorry etc but he stomped on the ice cream called us gay and walked off.

December 20, 2024 - Lane is so good in the role of Albert that it shouldn't matter what his sexual orientation is. ... My house quotes, "I pierced the toast!" a lot. ... Was an in-joke between my wife and I too. Whenever she recognized that she was overreacting to something, she’d say “I pierced the toast!” ... It matters if the role is calling for a straight male to play it. He was almost there by being chubby. But sorry to say, Nathan Lane is not the sort of actor who excels at playing straight characters.
