I have several abercombie jeans and I recently purchase the athletic loose jeans, and Maaan! The material is thick and you can tell the high quality compared to my other jeans.. pretty heavy as well. I normally wear a size 34 but decided to go up to 36 for a little extra space on the waiste and after washing they did shrunk a little and now fit like a 34 lol so I kept purchasing 36.. I got that idea of going a size up after ordering the exact size from levis 34 and then after washing, they felt tighter and I just didn't like how uncomfortable that felt.. More on reddit.com

Title. That's it. My brand new $110 flare jeans look at least a decade old after a week of gentle but consistent use. I made sure to get the 99 percent cotton one in hopes that the knees wouldn't budge this soon. I can't return it because it's beyond that point. So disappointed.

Yeah I’ve had issues with their jeans too. First of all, I have a shortish regular torso and the high rise comes up to my boobs. It looks stupid as fuck with some of the jeans. I’ve found a few that looked okay at first and didn’t come up to my boobs, but…. The material is weird. I have a pair of 90’s curve love high rise straight jeans that look totally different after ONE wear and washing. They are stretched out in places and won’t ever go back to the way they fit before. I have maybe ten pairs of various styles from AF and so far most of them have done this on some level. Idk. I like the look of the thick jeans nowadays, but I really miss the stretchy jeans too-I had so many great bootcut (stretchy) jeans back in the day and they would always wash well and conform back to their shape. I’m really surprised this isn’t a more common complaint of AF jeans. They don’t have enough stretch or something so the material doesn’t really bounce back right from that first wear.
