Feature/accent tile for bathroom wall, good or bad idea?

Accent tile?
Good God that green tile is to die for! Love it!
The accent tile: I have a “rule” I suggest for things that will be difficult or costly to remove should you decide to sell your home. If it has significant meaning to you and/ or if this is your forever home, absolutely add/ install it. If neither applies, don’t add/ install it.

I am tossing up whether I should include a feature tile on one of our bathroom walls. I get it, people have personal preferences when it comes to aesthetics, but aesthetics aside (because I think both options can look great), I am weighing the pros and cons of a feature tile wall vs all the walls being the same colour tile. Here are some thoughts in my head:
-
A feature wall can help change things up, add some colour, contrast etc.
-
Choosing a colourful or more out there design might become dated over time, or I might not like the end result rather than sticking to a consistent more neutral colour.
-
Could feature walls go out of fashion the same way feature painted interior walls also went a bit out of fashion.
-
Feature tiles are often more expensive than regular bathroom tiles.
-
Do feature walls give off a more premium look to a bathroom for resale value…
