Hi, I need to get a laptop for university (general use, long battery life, decently built). If you've got any suggestions I'd love to hear them! I found this one which seems ok for the price, here are its specs:

Acer Aspire 3 A315-24P-R5BC

CPU: Ryzen 5 7520U
GPU: Radeon 610M
RAM: 16GB DDR5
Storage: 512GB SSD
Screen: 15'6" IPS

So, is it worth it for the price?

if you're gaming, that combination of specs won't even run certain game titles if you're pushing for $500, then get a laptop with RTX 3050/4050

I think it should be good. I know PC World gave 4 stars to a similar one with a Ryzen 3 7000 series. They bumped up the score because the thought that the $499.00 suggested retail price was better than what the competition gives unless you hit the $575.00 mark. The Ryzen 5 should be excellent. I have a Ryzen 7 Ideapad 5 from last year: good speed and good battery. Walmart had an i5 prices at 400 for an Aspire 3.
