How's the display screen on yours? I bought an Aspire 3 with Intel i5-1235 and the display is atrocious. The colors look washed out and patchy and turn negative if I look at the screen at any angle other than straight on. I couldn't find out what kind of screen Acer used because it's not listed on the documentation, but I suspect it's a very low quality TN panel. More on reddit.com

Throw #2 out. It's ewaste garbage. Between #1, #3 and #4, here's how I see it. The #1 has 4GB soldered, so has a 4GB SODIMM in it. That, and the absolute HORRIBLE efficiency of the Alder Lake, makes me not like it very much. #3 & #4, they both have 8GB ram, both have a slot available so can be upgraded (officially) to 24GB (for the 7520U) and 16GB (for the 8265U). So either one, top priority is to add another 8GB SODIMM to bring it up to 16GB which will be totally sufficient for several years. That 1235U will be the best CPU performance of this bunch, with the 7520U outperforming the 8265U in CPU tasks. 1235U again wins in GPU tasks, with the other 2 about equal. Efficiency, the tides turn. The 7520U now takes the lead, with the 8265U a little behind it, and the 1235U well behind that. The spin will have the best looking display. Given prices and everything else, I'd lean towards the Aspire 3 Ryzen. More on reddit.com
