Adidas Jersey Sizing
Fanatics Large vs Adidas Authentic 52
Videos
Hey there, looking to get my first adidas jersey! I’m about 5’6” 155lbs and usually wear a medium/large. I can’t decide between the 50 or 52 and would really appreciate some feedback.
Hi guys, I own a couple jerseys, but they are both Reebok premiers...I am about to take the plunge and buy my first authentic Edge 2.0 and I wanted to get some input on sizing.
There is not a local shop that carries the Edge, so I figured I would run it by you guys before placing my order. The Reebok Premier Size Large (L) fits me perfectly...I can put a sweatshirt on underneath, but it is not comically large when worn over a long sleeve T. I am 5'10" and about 190.
I am thinking that (based on the sizing charts) the correct Edge size for me is a 52...does that sound about right to you guys?
Thanks!
Looking at buying my first NHL jersey. Have seen on this subreddit that the Adidas jerseys were usually preferred over the Fanatic jerseys. However this sizing is confusing me. According to the picture from the NHL shop website below, a 3XL in Adidas only has a 27.5 inch chest width? That seems outrageously small, the size for the Fanatic jersey seems normal/typical of a 3XL size. I did have issues with Adidas soccer jerseys not fitting over my shoulders and chest before, so I'm tempted to believe the chart and just buy a Fanatic jersey. It just seems odd that the chest measurement on the Adidas would be almost half the size of the Fanatic jersey, so I wanted to check if anyone has experience with both brands.
I am 5’9 140 lbs. Size 44 length is good but too tight near the chest. Size 46 seems way too long and looks like a dress. Curious what size people wear with similar build?
Quick question... Anyone with both know whether a Fanatics Breakaway Large fits similar to Adidas Authentic 52 Large? OR If I wear a Fanatics Large should I get an Adidas Authentic 50 M? Thank you for your time!
I got my boyfriend a Maple Leafs jersey for his Christmas present. He's around 5'6-5'7 and typically wears a medium so I got his jersey in a medium as well (50), however, when I tried it on (I'm 5'6), it was kinda long on me.. almost reaching to my knees. Is this normal? Should I exchange it for the smaller (44)?
Edit: Thank you all for all the helpful insight and information :)! Based on most of your comments, I'll make sure to exchange his to get a 46.
I bought myself a Sharks adidas jersey and I have a question about sizing. The jersey is 50 but compared to all my other Adidas it is definitely 52. I compared it to my Coyotes size 52 and the shoulders, chest (armpit to armpit) and sleeve lenght are exactly the same (22/22/24,5 or 56/56/62 in cm - I measure sleeves from a shoulder seam). I asked one seller to measure his Sharks 50 and it's equal to mine. But... I asked another seller to measure his 52 and it's also equal to my 50. I'm confused even if it's not the first time I'm dealing with an Adidas quality control issue. Or can it be a feature of the Sharks jerseys?
If you own a Sharks adidas jersey size 50 or 52 (and even 46) could you please tell me its dimensions?
For those of have an adidas authentic jersey, how is the fit? Do you wear the same size jersey you do in a t-shirt? I typically wear a size L t-shirt and wasn't sure if I should go with the size 52 jersey which seems to correspond with size L, or if I should size down to the 50.
Wanted to pick up a few of these practice jerseys to wear in full gear.
I’m 5 10” off skates and 180lbs. I typically wear a Large hockey jersey. I’m currently wearing CCM FT4 Pro shoulder pads in senior medium.
I’m unfamiliar with this sizing. What would you estimate I would need to play in?
