Has anyone bought from Momentum BMW/Mini in Houston?
I bought a car from them about 4 years ago before they moved to their new location. The salesman wasn't that great, but I wanted a BMW so I went ahead and bought one. Unfortunately it only had one key fob and the salesman said it was probably at the previous dealer the car was located. He told me he would call me once he had it or would give me an employer's discount for a new key if the old one wasn't found. I called and texted him for weeks and he never responded. I bought my BMW from San Antonio, but set them as my Houston dealership. A few months ago I start getting 2-3 text messages a day saying my car is due for an oil change. They got progressively more annoying until an actual person started calling me. This is how the convo went. Stealerhsip: Mr. McFuddlebutt, you car has alerted us that it's overdue for an oil change. Me: Oh, did it? Stealership: Yes sir, not changing the oil in your vehicle can damage the engine and affect gas mileage Me: What kind of car does it say I drive? Stealership: It says it's an I4 E-Drive35 Me: What kind of engine does that have Stealership: It doesn't show what kind Me: Because it's electric Stealership: We still recommend you bring it in for an oil change as soon as possible Me: I'll get right on that.
