Aerie chill leggings
I live in the Play ones, I'm tall (6ft tall, I wear them in S Long) and they actually fit me super well. The older ones I have were definitely higher quality but they're still pretty good. I have the Chill leggings and I'm pretty sure I've worn them once. They were thin, fit weird (I think short in the torso?) and generally disappointing. I suggest the Play leggings! More on reddit.com

Hi! I see Aerie featured on this sub a lot, so I figured one of you lovelies could help me determine if the Chill leggings are worth the purchase. I am a big fan of the old Chill leggings (circa 2017?), but they've changed the fabric in the past couple of years and the new ones look like they fit so differently. The old ones were thick, not see through, and fit my 5'0 (Small-Short) frame perfectly, AND they were like $10! So IMO, this change was a betrayal. But what say you all?

My biggest gripe with the change was the waistband! The old ones never used to sag or roll down and the new ones won't stay up at all. I didn't realize they changed it and bought a bunch during black Friday. I feel so betrayed.

the fabric composition is identical too.. the only thing i can think of is the “chill” ones are left over from the “chill. play. move” collection, which started phasing out when they introduced Offline. so they’re the same leggings just re-branded for the new collection

Yep this is the correct answer. Chill, Play, Move has been phased out to move in the Offline collection, so Chill moved to OG, Play moved to Real Me, etc. my store still has some originals left over and the only difference is the tag. 🙂
