I've been posting my larger clothes on Poshmark and ordering smaller stuff with the money I make. It's quite handy. Other cheap options are Burlington and Ross. If you have time hit up some thrift stores. I love thrift shopping and the ones I've been to have the clothing roughly sorted by size. Like the local Goodwill's have XL and up together so I just take a bit of time and go through them. Just the other day I found 3 great pairs of pants and several cute tops. Took about 15 mins. Need clothes that are super stupid cheap. Starting at 3x but am losing weight quickly so I need a disposable wardrobe I can work through until I get to a weight that feels manageable that I’ll be sticking with for a while.
Shein stresses me out. I hate shopping on there, but it’s seeming like my only option.

I don’t know what country you’re in, but Target and Walmart have pretty low clearance prices in additional to regular low priced items. Also, maybe this sounds goofy, but look at Craigslist ads and NextDoor and stuff to see if anyone near you is having a yard sale. Sometimes people will list the clothing sizes that will be available. I’d be wary about the safety of items coming from places like Shein, to be honest.

I don’t know if this is something that goes against Reddit policies, and please let me know if it does…. Um, depending on your size and style, I’d be happy to send you a bunch of cute stuff I no longer wear - or have never worn - for free (if you are in the U.S., international shipping is crazy right now…) I loathe Goodwill, so my things have just been taking up space in my closet/drawers. I was hella poor for three decades and had a few clothing “guardian angels” that kept me looking cute, and I guess this is my way of continuing that.

Bloom Chic has been really getting better. The prices are great, and the quality seems to be improving. Look for materials that have give. Occasionally, the materials have been shiny and consequently cheap-looking. However, after a wash or two it dulls and have been great. I have gotten casual shirts and some dressier things from them.
