This new MP3 player was released on Amazon over the past couple of weeks, the AGPTEK A52PL, that looks like the iPod Classic, although the first review clarifies that the circular function doesn't scroll like the iPod Classic, it just as four buttons at the top, bottom, left and right positions.

The 2.3 inch screen is surprisingly crisp when viewing it head on. Any other viewing angle though is where the screen quality will degrade.
Otherwise, content is is displayed wide enough to be viewable, but of course your phone will always be te better option. You can also attach Bluetooth headsets or just lisent to it out loud with the build in speaker.
The video format it supports is the usual AVI/AMV fromat that all Chinese Mp3 players use and you'll need a converter.

LimnosThanks for your response. I am unaware of what type of format the AGPTEK has. It was easily recognized by the PC I use at work; but I am unable to use the work PC for my audiobooks & music. On my MacBook, I have tried several USB ports, all with the same response: the mp3 player light turns on showing it is charging, but no recognition by MacBooks finder.Any suggestions?Thanks in advance for your thoughts and time.Bob

First, iTunes only supports Apple devices.Your mp3 player may be recognized as an external drive such as a flash drive if the formatting is correct (typically those kinds of things are formatted FAT which Macs will recognize). Does the drive port recognize other flash devices? Have you tried the device in other ports?
