Easy question, building a new rig with a core i7 13700k at the core and debating between a Be Quiet Dark Rock 4 Pro 250W or any AIO?

I previously been using an H100i for the last few years on the a 6700k and debating on switch back to air or getting a new AIO.

Looking to see if anyone here has made the switch from air cooling to an AIO. I built my 2700x computer about 4 months ago and I'm pretty happy with it. Overclocked to 4.2 at 1.35v and it's paired with a Dark Rock Pro 4. In games my temps are around 35-40, rendering in Sony Vegas up to 45-50. With rendering the fans can get a little noisy.

What I want to know is if upgrading to a H100i could bring the rendering temps down just a little or would it be a waste of money with little to no difference in temperatures/fan noise?

Just bought a new 11600k and heard reports of it running hot. I had already bought the Dark Rock Pro 4 and was wondering if the AIO would have been a better choice. Should I return the DRP4 or get the 280mm AIO?

So i have a spare x73 that I'm thinking of returning. In my PC I currently have a 9900k cpu with a Dark Rock Pro 4.

My question is will I get lower temps that it warrants the upgrade? Right now the cpu is running quite hot when I oc it and it's under load.

I'm planning to buy a new CPU cooler for my Ryzen 7 2700x.

So the question is: air cooler or AIO?

Then the next question would be: Shadow Rock 2 or Dark Rock Pro 4

I know that only one fan comes with the Shadow Rock 2, but i have one spare pure wings 2 anyway.

So that would be double fan with the Shadow Rock 2 and with the Dark Rock Pro 4.

Which cooler is better?

Additionally there is a big price difference.

The Dark Rock Pro 4 costs 72,85€

the Shadow Rock 2 cost only 37,75€

I currently have a Dark Rock 4 for my 5800x system. However, a couple of friends are recommending me to switch to an AIO cooler specifically the be quiet Pure Loop 280mm. Which cooler is better overall in terms of cooling power and noise levels?

Gestern kamen alle meine Komponenten an, also machte ich mich dran die Maschine zusammenzubauen. Gehäuse: Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX Mainboard: Asus Prime Z690-P CPU: i-5 13600KF (ja ohne integ. Grafikkarte, hab eh meine 3060 ti) Kühler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280

Im Prozess stellte sich aber heraus dass die Wakü zu groß (Radiatorhöhe 37mm) ist um am Deckel reinzupassen. Eine Frontmontage scheint mir aber suboptimal. Also heißts wieder zum E-Waren-Shop zu gehen und sich eine Alternative zu besorgen. Auf meiner Recherche stieß ich aber auf den Dark Rock Pro 4 und bin jetzt verunsichert. Das Teil hat enorm gute Bewertungen und ist um 40-60€ günstiger (und lagernd) als die alternative Wakü. Ich hab jetzt nicht besonders viele Resourcen um mir die teuerste und beste Wakü zu leisten, wär aber bereit mehr auszugeben, wenn es auf Dauer und insgesamt die besser Lösung ist.

Ich stehe in der Zwickmühle zwischen folgenden Wakü als Alternative:

• Silent Loop 2 280 (146€)

• MSI MAG Core Liquid 280R (130€)

• Fractal Design Lumen S28 RG (134€)

Oder eben Dark Rock Pro 4 (87€) - günstiger und scheint gleich gut zu sein.
