The battery charging case for my AirPods Pro’s have stopped working. They are out of warranty so not covered by mail-in service. However, buying a replacement case seems impossible. Hey everyone, as per the title says. Long story short is that I lost my airpods case and was thinking of buying a new one from Amazon. The original airpods charging case was a lightning one. Replacement case in itself is $60 and I am unsure if that even works, or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new pair for $330?

If your pods themselves are in a good condition why would you want to spend more to get a new set. Get a replacement case but only from Apple Store directly. Dont buy it from Amazon or any other place. Edit: also make sure that when you are at the store, make sure the pods pair properly with the case and that the case pairs properly with the phone. I’ve heard stories where there have been issues with this (nothing problematic but it will save you a second trip to the store.)
