Is it possible to replace an AirPod case?
Yes, you can buy a replacement AirPods case from Apple or a third-party retailer. AirPods Pro owners may receive a discount if they are on AppleCare+.
What happens if you lose your AirPod case?
You can go to Apple’s AirPods Replacement, Repair, and Service site to purchase a replacement charging case. Those with AirPods Pro earbuds may receive a discount if they are on AppleCare+.
How much does it cost to replace a damaged AirPods case?
This varies depending on the model. For example, a first-generation AirPods Lightning charging case will set you back $59, while a newer USB-C AirPods Pro 2 case will cost $99. Check Apple’s AirPods Replacement, Repair, and Service site for a full breakdown of costs.
Am I just imagining this, or am I supposed to be able to find the case even when the case is closed?
I could’ve sworn that when I first paired my AirPods Pro second generation, it gave me some option in the initial set up to set it up “ find my”. But when I go to find my, I can only connect to the AirPods when the case is open. What good does that do?
Please tell me if I’m just barking up the wrong tree and this isn’t a possibility, but I was pretty sure I had seen a video on it and it was one of the things that compelled me to buy it.
This happened almost a year and a half ago but I’ve been fully checked out and haven’t had the mental energy to deal with this.
So a while ago I was biking while listening to my airpod pros and the case fell out of my pocket. I was devastated because I had just got them and I rarely lose anything. I didn’t get them at the Apple Store so they told me I’d have to get a whole new pair which made me incredibly angry. Why can’t I simply just buy another charging case like the first generation? I called the apple customer service line TWICE, which led me absolutely nowhere, right back to the Apple Store where they told me I had to buy another one.
Can someone PLEASE tell me if there’s a way to get a new case or if I’m stuck with airpod pros that are absolutely useless?
Okay I really must be losing my mind.
Is there not a feature that let's you find your AirPods and a big arrow shows up on your screen that lets you find your device precisely? I swear I saw this feature demoed in the Apple Event and I can't figure out how to turn it on. Is this a US only feature?
Secondly, I have the new firmware update `4A400` on my AirPod Max', I heard that you can now play a sound while it's in its case... as opposed to only when they are outside of the case. Was that a lie? I can't seem to do that and I have the updated firmware.
Let me know please!!!?
Hi all, I had these AirPods Pro 2 for 2-3 years now and the casing fell off. Can this be easily fixed with glue or is it better if I go to Apple Store and get it fixed? Anyone had experience with this before? Thanks for any help in advance.
Hey everyone,
I recently ran into a weird issue with my AirPods Pro.
I’ve always kept them in a silicone protective cover and treated them carefully. Today while removing the silicone case, the top lid of the charging case literally peeled off.
Looks like the glue that holds the outer plastic to the hinge mechanism failed over time.
The AirPods themselves are working perfectly — it’s just the cosmetic part that’s come off.
I’d really rather not spend money on a new case when this is clearly a manufacturing issue. • Has anyone else faced this before? • What’s the best way to fix this safely without damaging anything? • Should I try reaching out to Apple Support even though it’s been over a year?
Appreciate any advice or tips!
Thanks in advance.
