So, one month has passed and I received the display cable from Aliexpress. I replaced the damn thing (Not fun, but doable) and to my surprise it worked! The laptop and the display turns on and boots into Windows. If anyone else has this problem, do try and replace the cable before replacing the motherboard\giving up, for me at least it saved the entire laptop.

If the beeping started after you took it apart then it means you fucked up somewhere. Hopefully it’s just a cable issue and not a damage / ESD issue. Take it back apart, repaste, and carefully reconnect every cable, every drive, and every memory module.

@sirfixalot 3 beeps on Alienware computers is caused by a System Board Chipset Failure. Double check to make sure that it is not your RAM module. I'd also try to remove the memory module, the battery and unplug your AC adapter. Then hold down the power button. After that replace memory module (1) at a time and plug the AC adapter in. See if that makes a difference. Otherwise you may be looking at a processor or motherboard failure.

Anyones....? Any ideas... Taking back apart now...

EDIT: Laptop boots up with AGA. Registers and see's the onboard 1080 in windows but no display off it, only the AGA. Attempting to disable the 1080 in Device Manager caused a crash/reboot.

Edit2: Was the LCD ribbon. Crisis adverted :p

Don’t worry about it. I had an “LCD Failure” and I reposted with LM and thought it spilled. Turns out I forget to plug one of the cables in the MB

Shows up as PCI/Video Card failure....which is never going to be good.

Make sure everything is connected properly and try pulling the CMOS battery to reset it and try again.

Did you use LM? If you did I hope none spilled....

Hello there. i tried to repaste my Alienware 15 R3 the other day, everything was ok until i restarted and when i turn the computer one first thing is go off and on like 2 times. Then the alien logo starts blinking 2 times red and 7 times blue (or looks white) after that it make a weird beeps on sounds like 3 2 1 and then a straight sound and i can count like 3 (i made some research and it shows LCD Problem but i didnt touch anything).

hi everyone

ive been having trouble with my laptop, ive been trying to fix it but i just cant seem to get it working.

I got the 2,7 lights which indicates lcd failure.... which i changed for a 4k UHD screen from peopleparts. i put in, same error. got a new mobo and installed it... same error. i have no idea now whats up. i have been very careful putting that cable in and i cant see anyhtign wrong. and i dont know how to trouble shoot anymore. everything i do changes nothing. anyone has exprience with this?

Sounds like you got a faulty motherboard from wherever you purchased it
