So basically I had a problem with AWCC so I wanted to reinstall it, but I had a lot of problems with the uninstalling of Alienware Command Center Package Manager, so I had to use Revo uninstaller for that. Then I installed the AWCC full installer 5.7.3 for my aurora 11 windows 10, then I procced to Install it, and it seems it went right, because it told me it was all good, and that I needed to reboot my pc, so after I rebooted nothing happened. Like it didn't gave me the application itself, or made any change on my files. So right now I only have the Alienware Command Center Package Manage, and I have no clue about what to do now. Also I've seen that some people install AWCC from the Microsoft store but It doesn't appears for me. (the image is from the Alienware Command Center Package Manager, and it's the only thing I can do about the AWCC.) (Btw I already tried those 3 options but didn't get any change.)
Hi, recently my Alienware Command Center application somehow broke and went missing from my computer. I tried following numerous guides with uninstalling, even downloading Revo and scrubbing any trace of the command center from my computer. After reinstalling the CC fresh and restarting, I cannot find the command center application anywhere...the start menu does not have it and I can't seem to find any EXE files for it anywhere. I have tried to run the repair function from the installer, but it just returns a "The installer wizard was interrupted" error. This is seriously pissing me off since I cannot control the fans or lights on my computer anymore, so any advice would be appreciated.
UPDATE: As one user in the comments suggested, I enabled the hidden admin account by using the command “net user administrator /active:yes” to activate the hidden admin account in Windows 10. I then downloaded and ran the installer. This got me farther than usual, and the CC actually managed to install. However, it’s just loading forever when I open it.
Hi all,
I have had a lot of issues and just was finally able to get Command Center working on my g16 on a fresh install of Windows 11.
I just wanted to share what worked for me in case it even helps one person as I definitely went down the rabbit hole on this one and it seems like many others have had issues via all my desperate google searches.
Here is what I did:
-
Reset PC
-
Followed these steps to a T in the video.
How to Uninstall and Reinstall the Alienware Command Center | Dell US
I was very interested by this step, as I had tried resetting previously, used Revo a bunch, but I never actually went in to these locations. I didn't realize that there was already all Alienware stuff on a completely fresh wipe. My theory is that the pc is supposed to have the app so many files are there, but it's not quite working, and then if you try to install- things are all messy and don't work.
-
I then ran Dell Update
-
I then ran Windows Update
Dell Update uninstalled itself so I reinstalled ...
I really don't think this impacted Alienware but I'm just sharing my exact process
-
After this I then went to try to download Alienware from Dell
Alienware Command Center Application - Full Installer | Driver Details | Dell US
-->Which Product Can I help you with?
It detected my laptop, I selected my operating system, and it said it was incompatible.
-->Find Similar Driver
Then I was able to download the Alienware Command Center 5.x that showed up for my pc.

Run the Installer and pray
When I ran the installer it actually had me accept terms and whatnot and it loaded for quite a while so it really seemed like it was working. When things were jacked up the loading bars would go very quickly and then say that things got 'interrupted' or something like that.
Just for context I did a fresh install to set up W11 with a local account as I made the mistake of using a microsoft account and it had signed it to everything under the sun. I had some trouble but got Command Center working, then today I was tinkering with the app vs traditional application, uninstalled it, and then realized I didn't know what I had till it was gone! lol
After that uninstall I just could not get it to work again, so very happy I'm back to a working command center and hopefully this might help someone else!
