I just periodically check the dell website to do it manually, nvidia I update through GeForce Side note: AWCC I never update since I had to do a full windows restore to get it to work and don’t want to risk it again since it’s working properly now. More on reddit.com

Go to dell.com > Support > Support Home > Put in Service Tag in search bar. On the left, you'll see an option that says "Drivers and downloads" Choose Select Drivers Search through the driver dropdowns for the one you want and click download. Run the EXE after it downloads. Dell / Alienware does a lot of weird stuff, but one thing I will give them is their ease in finding drivers and technical manuals for repairs are top-notch. More on reddit.com

Actually you don’t need AWCC, check AlienFX tools on github. It is a 0.5MB app that allows you to control lights, fans and other stuff. Compare it with awcc, a 1GB+ buggy app and background service that crashes every hour(just check your windows event logs)… with alienfx tools I am free of all dell crapware, bloatware and spyware 😎 Also I check the drivers manually, dell pushes faulty BIOS firmwares that brick your system and after that they silently remove them from their drivers listings page… then they release a new version to fix the previous bugs just to introduce new ones, I am getting BSODs every day since 3 months.. so if your system is stable, dont update! Never owned an AW before. What's the best way to keep drivers/BIOS up to date, other than going to Dell's website and manually download drivers once in a while? Just noticed, apparently Windows update does not update all the drivers for it. Should I be using the AW Update app to automatically detect or is there a better way to do it? Also, for the Nvidia card, should I be updating its drivers through Nvidia or Alienware?
