Does anyone have experience with Allmodern?
Allmodern is a sub-brand of Wayfair and the quality is comparable - like you said, hit or miss. Many suppliers, mostly from China and very hard to gauge quality before you actually get it.

I have heard their quality can be hit or miss because they just have so much stuff, much like Ikea, so there's a range in quality. I'm looking at the Radcliff bed and it says it's solid wood (doesn't mention MDF or engineered wood anywhere), but can I trust that? And is there a chance the quality is still going to suck? It seems like exactly what I want and the price is very cheap (almost too cheap), but I'm willing to spend more for better quality but it's hard to find anything that will even ship before like February.

I just bought from and returned back to All Modern. Like many people write, the furniture is made in SE Asia, so the quality and/or condition upon arrival is hit-or-miss. I bought a Walter nightstand and the soft-close glides were broken right out of the box. But regardless of the condition of the nightstand, I was so underwhelmed aesthetically that I went ahead and cancelled the matching dresser.
Delivery is free, but it is a pain with large items. All Modern/Wayfair just drops it off in your home still packed in the box. And removing from the box is a nightmare. It will take you a few days to clean up all the box staples and Styrofoam and loose screws that explode from the packaging.
All that said, customer service was AWESOME. They refunded the nightstand in full and didn't require a return. And they cancelled delivery of the dresser the day it was supposed to be delivered, again with a full return and no re-stocking fees. Try that with Pottery Barn/West Elm. (Answer: you can't.) In fact, customer service was so good that I intend to shop from All Modern again, just not for the large furniture items.
I'm on a bit of a budget and am seeing a lot of things on Allmodern (and Wayfair) that look good, but I'm a little concerned about the quality of the furniture. I realize that it's not going to be buy-it-for-life good, but am curious what folks have observed? I'm thinking of furniture like dressers and benches, as well as rugs. Thanks!
