So I find myself in the market for new tires. My new car has summer tires, excellent performance but they're nearing end of life. All-seasons in Canada doesn't mean shit when it's snowing, and I won't be driving around in winter tires during the warm months.
I'm wondering, in what (if any) situation do all-season tires make sense in this climate? They are quite commonly seen on the roads, I think because manufacturers ship new cars with all-seasons, and the layman seems to be under the mistaken impression that all-seasons (no 3PMS marking) are any good in snow.
Right now I'm leaning towards all-weather + summers, and replace my worn out summers with new summer tires next year or so.

Not advertising or anything just wanna help people find good deals. These tires have good reviews and are made by cooper (pretty decent brand)
