What are you trying to do with it? It's essentially a laptop with a low power desktop chip. There is no upgradability, so if you want an email machine it's probably fine. If you want it to game, you're going to have to look elsewhere. More on reddit.com

Hi all, we have a small physical (+ online) clothing store which has been growing very slowly but organicly over the years. Currently our inventory system is connected via a web application and we're using the POS software of that web application, which works fine on our current desktop computer.
Altough the computer does well for our POS system, the many cables are a pain in the ***. With a touchscreen monitor we would get rid of the mouse and keyboard. And we would switch to a wireless barcode scanner.
A simple low-end build would suffice for our needs since we will only use it to open our POS system within the browser. I have been looking online for a couple weeks now, but was unsuccesful with finding one within our budgets.
This is why we are looking for a All in one Windows computer with touchscreen, ideally under €1000, does anyone have any recommendations?

I work in a store and we sell all In ones with touch screen. You should definitely consider looking at LENOVO all in ones! They’re not too expensive (this is different for every country I think, I myself live in the Netherlands) i never had one come in for repair or heard about any issues they might have. They also come with a keyboard and mouse which are connected with a USB dongle. I also really like the designs they have, they would definitely look good in a store. Hope this helps!

It was a hand me down and I want to see if I can get it in complete working order. It is very laggy and can I get it to run games and school work well or is it a lost cause.

The fan and heatsink are probably clogged, it might run a full 6700 or 7700 processor, they are in a socket*. Also get a good quality SSD and install windows from scratch, then debloat it. (or use Tiny11 or GhostSpectre etc) Did you get the model with nVidia chip? *There is an outside chance a BIOS modification (CoffeeTime utility) could add support for 6-core processors, but you would probably want a 'magic modified' BGA1400 to LGA1151 ES CPU (Engineering Sample) to avoid needing to circuit modify the motherboard. Nothing seems wrong with the system I have, it's running Win11 fine. get RAM sticks with 16 chips per module, they will say 2rx8, for dual rank (not dual channel, dual rank.). I have had dual rank 2400 benchmark better than 4 or 8 chip 2666 RAM modules, it's reduced latency due to the extra bank acting almost like another channel.
