Batteries for Mac : https://www.fadel.io/batteries might be the most annoying/worst app I have used to date.
After installing it, if you open it, it only shows the apps settings it does not go in your menu bar.
The only way it goes in your menu bar is by opening the helper app that is in login folder.
Also, when you try to update it, since the app Latest found an update. It says : Warning cannot communicate with helper app ! Please make sure that batteries is in the application folder.
Then if you go on their website and search for the latest version. On Setapp it says 2.2.8 but Latest is saying 2.2.9?
Therefore, 0 help when asking. Their website is useless for help information or any troubleshooting. I tried all the usual stuff but no changes.
Anyone has an idea what could be the issues?

You can download latest version in offical website. Maybe developer doesn't put the update version in server. I also think that's too bad, too.

is there a way to show battery levels of all my Apple devices on my MacBook? The menu bar only displays the MacBook's battery percentage. I'd love a widget or feature to quickly see my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch battery levels without checking each one separately.
Most solutions online involve third-party apps or complex setups. Any native or built-in methods out there? Hidden feature or shortcut, perhaps?
