Money Market account worth it?
Do y’all trust Ally Bank? I’m looking to build my Emergency Fund in their money market account. Is there a better suggestion?

As you mention, they're very similar. Both have the same withdrawal frequency limit (federally regulated), both have the same interest rate. I would almost prefer not to have a debit card linked to savings, because if that gets in the wrong hands, you're screwed (yes, the bank protects against fraud, but that money's gone until they complete the investigation). You also get some of the additional features with the online savings account, like the buckets. Other than that, they're identical.
So, I would suggest online savings with a linked checking account. You get the ATM access with the checking (with ATM fee rebates up to $10/mo).

I’m wondering if there’s any downsides to the ally Money Market account since it sounds too good to be true. I saw there’s unlimited atm withdrawals but 10 transaction limit on transfers, so am I able to use the debit card normally or do purchases(online and in person) count toward the 10 transaction limit?
