Hi! I’m just bought a car and financed through ally auto. I’m having trouble starting up my account, anyone who’s started, did they tell you it would be 3 to 4 weeks before you could create an account because your information was not in their system yet?

1. When I use the app, it says "Wrong app, head over to the ally moblie app to login," but I'm in the Ally mobile app.

2. Logging in online won't work - they use 2-factor autentication but I never get the code on my phone. No option to send to email

3. Customer service takes too long to answer - It took 30 minutes to get ahold of someone

4. When I was able to log in on the app (after several tries) - I chatted with the rep but it took about 30 minutes for him to respond

5. When I asked him to change the number for the 2-factor authentication, he did. But when I log in online, it's still saying that it is sending the code to the old number.

Why is it so hard to work with this bank?

I finally talked to a rep. The company is trying to merge banking and auto so a lot of people are getting affected.

1. Go to ally.com/auto

2. Enter your uname

3. Enter your temporary password: Capitalized first letter of your last name + last four digits of your ssn + !!!
