Hi everyone, so I completed the eligibility steps last week and was gonna claim the welcome gift. On the website it says please allow 1-2 days for the redeem button to show up. I contacted Amazon support today, and they told me it actually takes about 1-2 weeks for the redeem button to show up loll. I’m not in a rush anyways. But i thought for the Welcome Gift it would be a box of random stuff sent by Amazon. When I go in to the page of select your welcome gift, all i see is 8 options.. and they are all toys!!🤔Was hoping to get a baby bottle or something. Anyone experienced the same?

At least you got options. I got the same lame hedgehog toy for both my babies. There were no options. But, the button showed up immediately for me.

Unfortunately it is not advertised in a lot of the subs on reddit/online that the welcome box is an American only thing. We as Canadians just get one small cheap toy. We don't get the box which is really frustrating. Also learned this after I had done everything your supposed to in order to get the box

Update: was able to redeem my free gift today on the mobile app. Also found the way to the redemption page on the app, click on your baby registry and the advertising banner on the very top says welcome gift click that to access the page with the redemption button once qualified.
Has anyone redeemed the free amazon registry gift after you made 25$ worth of purchases? We have over 20 items in our registry and have definitely spent more than the 25$ off of the registry but still no redeem function for the free gift.
Edit: we meet all the requirements. Prime members, 20+ items and over 25$ spent.

Also. Check back occasionally for other freebies/samples. I got two packs of 20 NB Pampers diapers just by going through their portal (this one was only ever visible to me on desktop, not mobile).

Yes, it should give you an option for a free toy as a gift that you redeem. Mine took about 2 days after I made a purchase for the button to show up.

If I personally am the one that has to buy something from it then they definitely didn’t make that clear enough�� ... It wouldn’t work for a couple of weeks for me even though I had guests buy stuff. I tried again one day and it magically worked. Also yes, apparently Amazon Canada sucks, there’s no big welcome box, it’s a small gift and for me was a set of teethers.
