Cyber monday is extinct. Its now Black November.

it's all the same thing now.. Black friday is good for in store deals, Cyber monday is Okay for online deals. Mostly retailers (amazon included) are trying to capture the black friday buzz by having deals online both days. On amazon specifically you'll probably see better deals on Friday than Monday, but judging how amazon is doing this whole 7 weeks of sales, you'll also see different deals on Friday over Monday. Friday will be the day for "door busters" though.

you should buy it now as long as you have 30 day free returns. come black friday or cyber money, the product might be cheaper but that is when you go to customer service and be like "can i get refunded the price difference? if not, i would like to return this product". i think this is why companies have been putting sales on their items since the end of october or beginning of november. they have no incentive to keep to sales strictly to black friday or cyber monday if their big annual sale can come early.

Majority stores already have “Black Friday” deals but is that the final price or will there be more saving on the day of Black Friday? What about cyber Monday?

Right now things are on sale but if I can get them cheaper I want to. Anyone have insight in this?

If you haven't been tracking prices on what you want for a few months before you have no way of knowing if something is a 'deal' or not. I've seen prices rise 25% in the past week on some stuff I've been wanting so those 'deals' are going to have to be good to get it back to the pre-holiday markup prices.

Now’adays? Absolutely not. They raise the price weeks before and then slash it on black friday and claim its “ON SALE”

They don’t drop any lower once the pre- Black Friday deals are live. The longer you wait the more likely they’ll be on back order.

Currently, the Kindle colors soft is at $229 (normally $279) My Amazon inside Man says that it may drop a smidge more on cyber Monday. On prime day back in October, I got my color, soft signature edition for $209 and also, don’t expect the introductory Kindle to go anywhere under $70. Hope this helps

I haven't seen any price reductions at the Amazon Fresh store for Black Friday. About 3 years ago they had some substantial sale prices for Prime members on Prime Day, like $1.99 a pound for the good ground beef. I haven't seen anything like that since. The best way to see discounts is to go to the Fresh website and hover your cursor over the "savings" tab and then click on all savings. It will show things on sale as well as price reductions at your specific store location. It doesn't show everything that is marked down, for some reason, so it can be beneficial to also do a broad search for words like "canned" or "dairy" or whatever you want and look that way too.

So I live a pretty frugal life and I end up saving quite a bit of money because of that. But when it comes to sales like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, I do find myself buying quite a bit of stuff.

I do make sure it's stuff that I'm going to use. And i do search the price history online to see if it is a justified sale.

I've wanted a chest freezer pretty much forever. And I've been looking, and pricing, for months. I finally found one of the ones I'd considered on sale at Best Buy and pulled the trigger. If you're going to buy something and you know the prices, this is a good time of year to shop.

Well, I bought a 4 pack of underwear that was on sale. It's the pricey stuff, you know, normally $31 for a 4-pack but on sale for $17. Oh yes. I am living large.

What it says, I’m just wondering what the difference is aside from cyber Monday being fully digital deals whereas Black Friday is both.

They're all scams. Those sales happen all year, they just arent public, and tricks people into buying things

I remember when I worked at Walmart prices on certain items would shoot up around the end of October just so they could “lower” them for Black Friday. It’s all a scam

So usually Amazon runs out black friday deals that are alive until monday (cyber monday) but this year seems like they run out a full week of "deals" Even tought many of ítems were already on discount before, but my point is look like this year arent black friday exclusive deals anymore. Hello! I was wondering if you guys knew any GOOD black friday/cyber monday deals. Not any of that 20% off stuff lol.

I keep at least 25 or 30 items in my Amazon Saved for Later cart. The ones that are heavily discounted on Black Friday deals are the ones I buy. Less subjectivity that way. This year there were 4 items.

Duluth trading has 50 percent off sitewide. E-gift cards are 15 percent off...I don't see why you can't sent one to yourself and use it to get your half price goodies. I might be missing something tho. Also there's the email sign up for a discount on your first order (I don't know if it can be stacked, sorry) Duluth has good quality stuff imho.

Electronics on Cyber Monday. Everything else on Black Friday. If you really need (or want) something (like a laptop or blu ray player), buy it Black Friday, but don't open it until after you check the Cyber Monday deals. Return Black Friday purchase if better price is found Monday.

My advice is to not fall in the trap of the low prices IF you don't need something. If you needed it before black friday and cyber monday, then this is the best time to get it. But the reason stores make money these days is because people see a low price and impulse buy. Don't impulse buy, plan carefully.

I have about 20 items in my "Save for Later" list. I knew what the prices were before BF and CM. About 15 of them were basically the same before, during and after even though they were listed on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Was also able to verify this with CamelCamelCamel. It should be illegal to list them discounted, when they actually arent.

Same thing happened on PrimeDay. Was watching a beverage mini fridge. Price dropped on PrimeDay and was listed as a Prime day special. A week later that same fridge was listed as the normal price which it was listed for on Prime Day.

I agree. Fake "sales" are so annoying! I think Keepa is a superior price checker. It even has a lowest ever offer filter. I can probably find you an actually good deal if you're a little flexible with any of the items you're looking for.

They're generally different both days, and sometimes different things are discounted on the AG site vs. Amazon. I think on the balance Cyber Monday is generally a bit better, but it varies. If something you want is on sale on Black Friday, that doesn't guarantee it'll also be on sale on Cyber Monday - they mix it up sometimes, so it may go back up to full price. Some years I've ended up placing an order both days, depending on what was on my list. In the current case, if I wanted a TrulyMe doll, I wouldn't wait in the hopes that they'd be discounted more later - new, non-discontinued dolls pretty much don't go below 30% off, and that's an unusually GOOD sale.

Basically, Amazon is pushing this "early black friday" sale thing. I noticed that some parts I've been eyeing are on sale. Should I pull the trigger on those? Or is it likely that those parts may see the same/bigger discounts a few weeks from now?

If they're the parts you were already wanting and they're on sale now, I'd just go ahead and buy them.

I bought my PC parts during the Holiday season. I purchased during Black Friday and in the middle of December. Here is my two cents for online shopping: CPU: nothing extreme. $10-$20 off max. So if you see the CPU you like on sale before then, GET IT! MoBo: $15-$30 off. I got mine for $15 cheaper than what it is now HDD: $5-$10 off. Got a Seagate for $65, nothing to write home about RAM: BEST THING ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS! Got these for $53 ! Case: $10-$20 off PSU: $15-$25 off TL;DR Holiday sales are good for RAM Got mine for $27 cheaper than what it is now. Other than that, meh, lucky to get $50 off on the parts you originally didn't choose.

I have seen plenty of monitors on sale like the Alienware AW2725DF which looks like a good deal on a good monitor, but I want to know if I should hold off until either Black Friday or cyber Monday to find a better deal on a better monitor or if I should just buy the $550 on sale monitor, and if I should wait, which day would be better or are both days basically the same deal wise?

I don't think it will go any further than that honestly.

most of the deals probably have already happened. Also the eco is crap so usally it's a month long sale and then the real one happens in Jan Life is short though. If you see a decent deal below what it usally goes for on amazon, ust get it. Like sales really are not going to be crazy good, you're looking at 20% off or everyone loses money. Greentoe btw is a good place to get TVs and monitors pretty much close to 10% off + no taxes all year round :)
