Is Amazon's Business Prime Duo worth it?
Anyone use Amazon Prime business
Amazon Prime = $99, Amazon Prime Business = $499... Why?
The confusion in this thread amazes me - Amazon Business is not intended for one-man or very small businesses (like I assume OP is talking about). It's for mid-size companies who want to empower their workforce to order their own parts, supplies, office gear, etc. It has approval workflows so managers can sign off on big purchases, reports & alerts for tracking spending, the ability to set up payment methods for an entire group (so employees don't need a "corporate card" to make orders), etc.
No business with 50+ employees is just going to say "go ahead and create your own second Amazon account and here's the card to put on file" just to save $400/yr. Amazon Business is perfect for companies that just want to remove the hassle of letting their employees make small purchases (or even big purchases, which can be shipped LTL to your receiving dock - something you can't do with regular Prime).

So Busines Prime Duo links your Prime account to your business account and, supposedly, gives you bulk purchase discounts along with the advantageous free shipping of your prime account. I have an LLC so isnt this technically piercing the veil between personal and business activity?😳Also, I feel like I'm kinda being bullied into getting the Prime Duo deal since you wont get free shipping otherwise. Does anyone have this deal already and if so what is your experience as a business owner?🤔 This idea seems like a half baked idea by Amazon, should I just create a separate account and just run my business stuff with no free shipping? Any alternatives? Thank you, guys
