I have three already I was just wondering what y’all think , I was already approved for it I just want some other opinions
So ive been considering the Amazon CC since i do so many purchases in a year on amazon. Do any of you have / use it? I currently have Amex gold, Amex Blue cash, Amex adelta and Chase reserve. Is it worth it if you spend around 5-10k a year on amazon?

The quick hits from their marketing page are…
5% at WF, Prime, and Chase Travel
2% at restaurants and transit
No annual fee
No international fees.
I wouldn’t carry a balance and would only use this for the rewards. But it’s not got the best (crowdsourced) reviews.
If I already have (+ shop) Amazon Prime and shop at Whole Foods for groceries most of the time, is there a catch in not seeing?
just comming here to ask about the amazon credit card. hopefully someone here has one/has had one and can shine some light on them. seems like pretty high intrest, but i do a decent amount of amazon shopping and it could be a easy way to build credit on purchases that i already make, but i dont know much about credit cards.
If you get one, don't ever carry a balance. Pay it off full every month. That way the interest rate doesn't matter.
There's nothing wrong with the Amazon CC as long as having it doesn't hypnotize you into buying unnecessary things, or spending so much that you can't pay it off in full each month.
If you intend to carry a balance, then credit cards just aren't worth it.
If you pay in full each month and don't do much international travel, the Amazon card is a good one. If you do much international travel, I prefer the Chase cards because you get 5x miles at office supply stores where you can purchase Amazon gift cards.
I normally use my chase freedom, sapphire or Citi costco card to make all my purchases. But I saw an ad on amazon that the credit card they offer gives you 5% off all purchases is it worth it? I normally don’t keep a balance on my credit cards and pay them off before the end of the month so APR isn’t an issue for me.
I do 99% of my shopping online through Amazon. I was contemplating getting a new credit card soon (only have one atm), to increase my score and just so I have 2 in general. I saw some perks such as monthly payments without interest on certain items, 5% back, etc. If anyone has experience or opinions on this, and how it works/worth it. And go into detail as much as possible, I'd appreciate it :)

Well then yeah, I’d say it’s worth it. People can argue that there are other cards that would be more optimal if you take time to plan out purchases, but this card is just simple to use with a decent no spend sign up bonus
5% is around the biggets cashback you can get on a non AF card
So getting that on 99% of your expenses would mean nothing beats it
The chase amazon prime card + the Capitale One Walmart card provides me with perfect 5% cashback on all my groceries needs
I’ve been a prime member for a long time, definitely use it often. Right now they’re offering $200 gift card into account as offer. Is this card a no brainer and definitely worth having for an Amazon prime member? Also I do have another Chase credit card already so would I just sing into my chase account to pay the card and I’ll see both my credit cards? Does my other chase cash back card and this cash back card all stack or do I have to transfer the points from Amazon to chase then redeem cash back? Thank you.
Is it a good idea if I pay it off every month and I already purchase from Amazon a lot? Any gotchas I should know about before I apply?
I am looking to get my first credit card. I am 23 and have survived perfectly fine but wanted to build some credit aside from paying on my student loans.
I have looked into a handful of cards and am leaning towards the Discover card or Amazon card. I have an Amazon prime account already.
I use Amazon fairly regularly but I can’t tell if the Amazon card would restrict me too much or if it would fit me. I will take any other advice on different credit cards though.
I’d like to know all the pros and cons of this credit card. I’m constantly ordering from Amazon weekly since moving into my new home. I’ve probably spent thousands of dollars and am thinking about getting the card but I want to hear some personal experiences before I make my decision.
Thank you
I dont have amazon prime and maybe buy something on amazon once every 2 months. Was only looking at it for the 200 sign up bonus and no foreign transaction fee. New to credit cards only have the Savor One and Freedom Rise with score of 690. Savor one has a low limit 500.
Any thoughts? WIll be appreciated
They currently have a $200 Gift card promo going on right now just for getting approved it looks like. The arrival of the gc seems instant. I probably won’t have prime too much longer so is the card even worth it? I only want it for it’s promo honestly and wouldn’t ever use it.
UPDATE: … I did it :D got the $200 bonus instantly
If you don't have prime it is not worth it, If you do have prime It's probably worth it when you consider the additional discounts and what not that you receive receive for having the card.
Another good option Is the affinity federal credit Union cash rewards card, it gives 5% back at Amazon and has rotating categories which stack with baseline rewards, So if Amazon is one of the rotating categories then you get 10% back at Amazon
I just got it; used the 200 for Christmas shopping and will get 5% off all while using someone else’s prime account. I love it.
I want to start it off by saying I don't have prime yet, but plan to get it eventually. I use amazon alot and wanna know if I should get it, I'll be using it on my dads amazon account until I get prime on my own although.
I also want to apply for a business one too for my new business, is that possible to have both?
This is probably a pretty stupid question. I've never had a store card before.
Basically, Amazon is offering the card and a free gift card. Sick, I want the gift card, but I have no real reason to use the credit card. If I get the card (and the gift card) and never use the credit card, will it come back to haunt me? Is there some clause that could cause issues? Will me credit score tank?
Again. Stupid question, i know. I'm just a nervous person i guess. Thank you
I already have Amex gold, but I buy a ton of shit on amazon, so i was wondering if you guys think I should get the amazon visa and it's worth it.
I'm thinking of getting the Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card. My credit score is in the low 700s and I already have an Amazon membership. I pay off my cards every month but only have a couple of years of credit history.
Worries due to the following comments on the Amazon website reviews:
"Predatory interest rate," which I usually ignore bc I never let mine acrue any interest, but this one said that they charged interest beginning the day it was purchased rather than at the end of the period. And that if it wasn't paid in whole the entire amount accrued interest including parts already paid off. Random cancellations after already receiving the card... wish I could post screenshots there were a lot of crazy accusations against chase and I've never banked with them before.
Update: I got approved and look forward to enjoying the benefits this upcoming semester!
Hey everyone,
I’m debating whether or not I should pick up the Amazon Prime Visa from Chase. Right now, I use my Amex Platinum for Amazon purchases and I don’t really mind since I’m getting MR points, but lately I’ve been thinking more about optimizing that 5% back with the Amazon card.
Not 100% sure if it’s worth adding another card just for that perk, especially since I already have Prime and my Plat handles most of my big purchases/travel. But curious if any of you have felt the upgrade was worth it or if it just ends up collecting dust.
Side question: does anyone know if the Amazon Visa is still metal? I’ve heard some folks in certain areas (I’m based in LA) were given a metal version, wondering if that’s still a thing or if they’ve switched to plastic across the board.
Thanks in advance!
