It’s from Chase & not from Synchrony, that’s hype for some people as it is. Prime Visa can get 5% back on Woot now (if you say, “what’s Woot?” then don’t worry about it lol). Store card can do the promotional financing, but in general you probably shouldn’t finance anything you’re getting on Amazon imo. It’s also likely that in the financing terms from Synchrony that they’ll calculate interest as a percentage of the whole purchase you’re financing, not a percentage of your remaining balance. Store card has its own dedicated app with UI from like 10+ years ago, Prime Visa is managed in the much better Chase app. They both get 5% back at Whole Foods now, you just need to pay through the Whole Foods app when using the Store Card, can use the physical card with the Visa. I got the store card as my first non-AU card as a teenager thinking getting approved for a store card would be easier. I’ve had it for years, but I recommended my parents and a friend to get the Visa, for what that’s worth. Synchrony will only soft pull for CLIs, and you can request the limit you want, if that’s important to you. I don’t believe you can request a specific limit when requesting an increase from Chase. In addition, if you cancel your Prime membership, the Prime Visa will downgrade to 3% back on Amazon, the Store card will stop earning rewards altogether. Check the Ts&Cs More on reddit.com
