I read horror stories about how bad the working conditions are. But maybe that's a US thing. I was wondering how is it here in Germany?
About me: 31M. Done with my masters degree. My only non-office job experience is in Weihnachtsmarkt working in a Bonbon shop. I am thinking of working in a Amazon warehouse as part-time to support myself financially until I find a full-time job.
Apart from the general experience, I have some specific question -
Does one have to interact with people a lot? Or is it more of a solo job?
Is language level B1 enough?
My main focus now should be full-time job search. After a part-time job at the warehouse, will it be too exhausting to do anything? I know this is individual, but generally speaking how stressful and/or exhausting is the job?

It's actually pretty good. You should give it a shot. Despite the general anti-Amazon circlejerk online, the working conditions are pretty good for a warehouse especially in Germany. I know this is individual, but generally speaking how stressful and/or exhausting is the job? Well if it's your first physical job it would be surely challenging at the start. https://www.amazon.jobs/en/landing_pages/versandmitarbeiter This is the link for the big warehouses that you are directly employed by Amazon. https://www.amazon.jobs/en/landing_pages/sortiermitarbeiter And this is the link for the smaller sites that you get employed through 3rd party firm. My advice would be to check both links and apply to all the sites that have the shortest commute time. Who is your employer it shouldn't matter to you since you are not planning to work there long term and the money is the same.
