I have been round and round with people on the subject of deep links. I decided to ask Amazon if they were legit to use because I didn't want to get my account terminated for using them. This is what Amazon wrote: They said they do not support them. They didn't say they were against TOS, however it does say in TOS that the link must clearly identify it is an Amazon link. Nobody seems to know if just saying AMAZON in front of the link will be enough. HOWEVER, they did share that Amazon has their own tool to generate mobile links. Coming back to this because I'm looking for an alternative to paid deep links. I tested this and it did NOT work for instagram stories, which is the only links that I use the URL genius deep links for because they open -in app and logged in.

I see several comments that have probably already addressed your question. But also I wanted to add my 2 cents about vertical videos. Vertical videos are the new king of marketing as everyone is on mobile, and growing. Also I use SMS much more - have been using call loop . With call loop, you can subscribe to a key word, and as long as you are subscribed, that key word of phrase is yours only. Then you can advertise for people to "text xyz" to your number.
