I'm fine tuning my "subscription situation" to save a few bucks. I've noticed I get Amazon Music with my Prime subscription, but I've been using YouTube music for a long time lately. My understanding was that AM sucked, so I never really used it.
Just wondering how the services compare and if it's worthwhile to drop YTM and move over to AM fully. Most of my usage is on my laptop during work and in my car via bluetooth. I usually make specific playlists and only listen to "stations" really rarely. I stream lots of different stuff and don't really buy any music. Will AM work out for me?

The Prime Music subscription that you will get through Amazon is little more than an advertisement for Amazon Music Unlimited, which is the full package. Prime Music only includes 2 million tracks, vs 90 million with the full package. It’s still probably cheaper to go with Amazon Unlimited, but you’ll lose your YouTube Premium as well. I have, use, and enjoy both services, but they definitely have a different vibe. I would try a free trial subscription with Amazon before dropping your YouTube subscription.

I prefere Amazon music unlimited (i have AM, Apple music and YouTube Premium). I get better music quality with Amazon music. I find more music i like on Amazon music than in Spotify and YouTube. Mabe os becouse i am in Brazil Mabe.. (country restrictions) Amazon music unlimited have better interection with Alexa and echo devices So it understand perfectlee portuguese and english perfectly, even mixing words.. I just turn on my car and my "echo auto" is on, so i can ask any music, artist, álbum and playlist by Voice. I pay YouTube becouse i don't like to se adds I pay Apple music becouse It allows me to upload playlists to iCloud so i can play songs that i don't find on amazon music.
