I ordered shoes from Amazon and when it got delivered (1st of June), I found that the right shoe is defective and doesn't fit my right foot properly and also has the Adidas Logo tilted compared to the left one. So I asked for a return on the same date and it was said the product will be picked in three days, that is 4th of June. Now I waited till 7PM for the agent to come and pick it up but nothing happens. I didn't receive any SMS or call from anyone. So, I again contact the Amazon team on 4th and they said the return request was somehow cancelled. So they asked me to let them make a return request again and confirmed it will be picked up on June 5th. I again waited till 7PM and guess what? Same thing happens. No SMS and nothing and again the return request was cancelled automatically. I asked them for the contact number of the delivery agent and they gave me the number of an agent who said he was on holiday. I was very confused by now. Why did they give me the number of an agent who is on holiday? Anyway, I again asked for a return request and now they said it will be picked up on 8th June, that is today, and still no SMS or any thing. I contacted amazon and even tagged Jeff Bezos for a .01% of luck and they just tell me to talk to customer care. What do I do now?
I had two orders for Amazon Locker pickup, which I was unable to pickup, so Amazon processed an automatic return and refund process. It has been nearly 30 days and they're saying both items are still in process of being received to only then wait for the refund process to start.
Is there any method to properly escalate this return process with support? I feel like Amazon can verify the items were not received by me and due to the age can make the call to refund me without holding up my rather large purchase amounts any further.
Let me know if you've had any success navigating a similar situation as this. The two orders combined total $1800+.
Hey Everybody,
I was wondering what happens if i don't pick up a package from an amazon locker. Will they eventually pick it back up and I'll be refunded the money? I'm asking because there was a delay in arriving to the locker, and I'm no locker able to pick it up.
Hey! I recently made a $200 purchase for a graphics card on Amazon, but realized after ordering that I purchased the wrong model. When trying to cancel the order on the same day, I was sent an "unable to cancel" email stating "If you no longer want these items, you may refuse delivery or return them after they arrive."
This was sent the next day to an Amazon Locker in my area and needs to be picked up in three days. I assume "refuse delivery" means just not picking up the item at the locker and having it return to Amazon. However with it being a more expensive purchase I am nervous about making sure I do the return properly.
When I tried to do a return (prior to pickup), I was given no return options, just troubleshooting recommendations. Is it safe to leave the item I purchased at the locker and have Amazon receive it back or is this risky? I am nervous that if I pick up the graphics card, I'll still not have any return options. But I am thinking about picking it up to mitigate the risk of not getting a refund and losing the graphics card.
This item was sold through Amazon and was a brand new item. I'm not sure what the best course of action is here. Just nervous because I've heard issues on other Reddit threads about refusing delivery: https://www.reddit.com/r/amazonprime/comments/13sgchh/psa_do_not_refuse_a_delivery/
