Amazon Pay

Working full time at Amazon for 3 months at the YOW3 location in barrhaven. If you’re looking for better pay (Amazon offers 19.00 and 19.50 overnight shifts) then definitely go for it. The thing about the new barrhaven location is it’s mostly automated work done by robots. The work we do at the warehouse is relatively easy when it comes to comparing it to what we hear in the media. There’s no peeing in bottles. They are hard on you you the first 2 weeks about downtime while working (so bathroom breaks), but honestly if you can keep up your quotas they don’t have an issue with me going. I work ICQA. I deal with the counting and quality of inbound products. It’s relatively easy work. Isn’t physically demanding besides the standing stationary for 10 hours. Before this I also worked at Costco’s warehouse. Many people believe it to be the best job that doesn’t require education but it ain’t. If you plan to stay there 10+ years maybe. The managers at Costco were nice, but you can tell they played favourites and if you did anything wrong they’d hate you forget. Amazon offers 90-100% coverage on dental, physio, and a whole lot more. As someone said before, Costco does not offer better pay or benefits than Amazon. So in the end, I am looking for better work. Only because I want to work within my field of study. For now though, Amazon is helping me get much needed dental work done and pays me great. The major advantage from a seller's perspective is that Amazon represents trust. Anyone using https and a secure payment portal is really the same, but Amazon brings an additional layer of trust. I can't speak to Amazon pay benefits for customers but I'd assume anything that works on Amazon itself in terms of rewards works for Amazon pay, ie, if you get rewards, etc. More on reddit.com
