https://gaming.amazon.com in the US now shows "Luna >> Claim Games" -- I think the cool freebies are gonna keep coming and may be cloud-gaming enabled :) It's good news, I get it if you think it's bad news.
Hi everyone, I got a new gaming laptop for my birthday, and I've been slowly working my way around the PC gaming ecosystem, and I had some questions about how Prime Gaming works.
Is Prime Gaming like Steam? Do I need to download a new client in order to play some of these games? Do I need to link accounts?
I don't have Prime, but my mother-in-law does (she has an account that everyone in my wife's immediate family uses). No one on that side of my family are PC gamers, so I'm not taking codes away from people. They're sitting there unused. What does it mean to activate Prime Gaming? Would Prime Gaming cost her more money or raise the price of her Amazon Prime subscription?
From a technical and financial standpoint, is it a problem or a hassle if my email account is different from my mother-in-law, who has Amazon Prime?
What else should I know about Prime Gaming that might not be immediately clear to a n00b?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
