Can I download Amazon Prime videos on laptop to watch offline?
Yes. If your laptop is running Windows 10(17763.0) or later, you can download Amazon Prime movies on your laptop using the official Amazon Prime Video app.
Where are downloaded Amazon Prime Video stored on PC?
The download location is C: disk by default. You can't have any settings on the video quality and download location on the PC app. If you want to save the video to other disks, you should change the system storage manually in the Settings module on your computer.
As a test I bought an episode of Simpsons from Amazon Prime Video. It was only $2 so I figured I could risk it. And as I suspected, there seems to be no way to actually download the movie file. They want me to download an app to watch it.
Is there any way to actually save this file that I paid for? Or is my only solution for Simpsons to buy the DVDs and rip the episodes myself?
I'm not techno savvy. 76 years old. Give me a break. When I grew up an electric typewriter was the height of technology. We have Amazon Prime and I want to download some free movies or will rent them. Can I then play them off-line, when we are traveling without wifi? Or do I have to be hooked up to a wifi network ? I can play them on a plane?
Thanks
