Videos
For reference I use the Xbox app and I’m in the UK. Is there a way to restrict the prime video app so it only shows me things that are included with the prime subscription? It’s so frustrating trying to browse through what is available on the prime video app because it’s constantly popping up things that I can buy/rent if I want.
“I get it Jeff, any movie I can think of is available for purchase from Amazon. I already knew that. Now how about you tell me what I can get for free through my subscription”
The annoying thing is, there is loads of good stuff available, it’s just a chore to find it all while wading through all the stuff that’s available to buy/rent.
I'm going to be buying Prime Video for the first time in late March or Early April for the new boxing coverage.
My question is this:
Does buying Prime Video "unlock" at least some of the movies that appear when you execute a voice search (as an example)
I'm asking because if you purchase or earn the rights to Xfinity StreamPix (on Comcast) all of the "Rent/Buy" movies become no extra charge.
Does Prime video do something similar?
A simple Yes/No is appreciated.
I realize that this may not be the best forum for such an elementary question.
I feel like there used to be a list called "free for me" on Amazon Prime when browsing videos. Now it seems like every list or search I put in there is sprinkled with movies to either buy or rent.
I mean I get it, it makes sense for them to sprinkle the pay with the free, but damn, sometimes I just want to watch a movie without having to pull out my billfold.
Update
I eventually found this comment from 8 years ago with a link that still seems to work. No idea what the URL decoration does, but at least it works.
