Is free 2 day shipping gone?
If so I why are we paying for Prime?
Trying to watch Reacher and it says it requires Prime Video. Does regular Amazon Prime not include Prime Video anymore?
Prime was great back when I first took a subscription in 2019 but it has gotten worse over the years. These days, when I google a movie I'm glad to see its on Prime but when I go to the site, it asks me to rent or subscribe to some shi11y service. What are we even paying monthly/annual subscription fees for, if they want us to shell out money for every other movie?
I just went to my TV app for Amazon Prime Video and the movies I could watch yesterday for free all have a cost to rent now. What is happening? Does anyone know? I had an extensive watchlist and all the TV programs I had on it are still free but over 2/3rds of the movies I had on it now need a rental to access.
Worst streaming platform there is. Ads for a paid fucking service? Now half the shit requires additional payment too. Not to mention the app doesn't remember which episode you left off half the time.
It's a way of Captain Steve to milk your udders and squeeze more dosh out of you
I'm sure most heard that if you live in a separate household and were sharing prime benefits through one account that such services are ending because Amazon wants you to get your own membership. Don't plan on doing that because that's way too expensive for how little I buy from them anymore. I'm curious though if I can still get a Prime Video account once this new rule takes effect? A show I like is only video Prime Video and my plan is to get it for as long as the season goes on for and then just cancel it again but is it possible to have just a Prime Video subscription?
I wanted to make this post because i can find minimal discussion on it online, even though I know it must have affected others. So basically, I've had Amazon Prime for FREE basically every since it came out, at least 15 years or more. I didn't even know anything was strange until about 2 years ago. I wondered why so many people sign up for Prime, since I always got free shipping super fast and never paid for Prime. I kept telling everyone they're wasting their money haha and to just use the free version because it was still awesome.
Finally about 2 years ago, I did some research and realized I was "glitched" into Amazon Prime. Most likely it was very close to when it first came out, and my free trial just continued forever after I cancelled. A friend of mine's boyfriend works for Amazon as an engineer, and when I told him about it he said he was familiar with the glitch. I begged him not to rat me out haha and my free Prime continued.
Also interesting to note I never had access to Amazon Prime Video, most likely because i was glitched into the Prime before Prime Video existed. When I would click into the Prime Video area, it would prompt me to sign up for Amazon Prime.
Now finally the party is over. It must have been within the last 2 months, but now when I try to order anything, I am charged for shipping and my account is officially a 'free' account.
Wow it was fun while it lasted! I literally must have got thousands and thousands of dollars in free shipping/membership charges. I think I'll probably subscribe now since I feel like I owe them some money haha. Anyone heard of this, or had it happen to them?
