If you don't have prime it is not worth it, If you do have prime It's probably worth it when you consider the additional discounts and what not that you receive receive for having the card.
Another good option Is the affinity federal credit Union cash rewards card, it gives 5% back at Amazon and has rotating categories which stack with baseline rewards, So if Amazon is one of the rotating categories then you get 10% back at Amazon

My Prime Visa is one of my very few CB cards simply because it often gets 6% CB for slower shipping in my area since I live right next to a fulfillment center. Even though I generally prefer my spend to get points, it just adds up so quick I can't convince myself to put it on a VX to get 2X points or a CFU just for 1.5X UR points. No catch except you have to be paying for Prime to avail the 5% iirc. I have my parents use my amazon acc and prime card and they zelle me the money to pay off what they buy :)
