Did anyone actually get the PlayStation 5 from the Amazon invitation and did it really come brand new or because I received the invitation but I’m really scared to get scammed
Did anyone receive the Amazon invitation to buy the PS5 for 09/09/2022?
**Update: Ordered it from PS direct, Forbidden West Bundle. Shipped from Georgia today.
Just order it from playstation direct. They still have the horizon bundle in stock. Ordered mine yesterday and is now preparing to ship
I would check target, I missed the big stockup during labor day from PSN and walmart, and learned target will add a few playstations to random stores a few times a week. I checked daily for 3 days, and at like 2am there was new stock at a target a few miles away
I am interested in PS5 and have seen several here post that they got theirs from the Amazon Invitation system.
How difficult is it to actually get accepted? Do most people not get any invites or get rejected?

It’s so wild to me that you STILL can’t just pull up a website like Walmart, Best Buy, etc and just buy a Series X or PS5. I really didn’t think supply issues would last as long as they have.
I suppose on the bright side it let people save up and set aside money for one of the new systems.
Absolutely sucks having to wait for them though. Glad more stores are attempting to beat out scalpers too
Yesterday I signed up on Amazon for the PS5 Invite. Out of curiosity, how likely am I to get an invite to buy at some point, and if so how long would it probably be till I get said invite? I don't know how long this program's been out, so these questions may not have good answers right now, but I figured this would be the best place to get some reliable info.
So I recently applied to this invitation to purchase a PS5 on Amazon. Guessing most of you also applied. Any experiences with this?
Since I applied (a few days ago) I see this message about how maybe they will reach out to me with an invitation that would be valid for 72 hours.

I had registered to Amazon and Sony direct. Got nothing and ended up catching Sony's open sale a few days ago. I don't know how I didn't get an invite, I was just lucky enough to check check this PS5 restock website to see Sony was selling them to the public.

I’m sure there will be more invites soon. Even though first come first serve is best, I hope they look at customer accounts cause I’ve spent so much money at amazon lmao
I assume the invite system is going to be the new go-to for Amazon to allocate console sales, so it's going to trickle out slowly as they get more in. So far, we at least know a small amount of people have gotten invited in the initial wave a few days ago. I haven't heard of anyone getting invited yet for the 2nd wave, and I assume it will continue to trickle out from this point on, slowly.
