Just after the warranty expired, I had to do a service call because remote sensor went bad on the TV. It had been acting up for a while, but I didn't know why, then just stopped working all together. LG wouldn't cover the cost of the part or service. So... yeah, I got screwed. I eventually ordered the part and replaced it on the TV myself. There is also some weird backlight bleed on the TV that I just accepted and try to ignore when I see it. It ultimately led me to believe that's why it was an open box, probably a return and I got stuck with the issues. I would make sure it was refurbished by the manufacturer (or authorized service center) and comes with a full warranty.

I've purchased plenty of things from Woot. The only thing you have to look out for is the poor return policy. As far as getting and using the TV, I would be no less confident ordering through Woot as I would anywhere else.

They can be had for $150 to $200 less than brand new. Come with full warranty. Extended warranty available (which I nearly always buy.) The price difference makes the Samsung Q90c very attractive vs the QCc.

I’ve purchased a refurbished TV from them but through Woot, which is owned by Amazon. I also purchased the extended warranty through Amazon after the fact just in case, which I have two years left and so far it’s been going great. It was for my guest bedroom, and I could get the Q90T for the price of a new Q60B which I thought was a great get.
