December 29, 2022 - Canada does not allow you to track, that’s why no netrodyne, it only gives a rough estimate based on the drivers route for the day. Delivery by 10pm because that’s the latest we deliver to. Amazon driver here in Lower Mainland BC.

I ordered a video game form amazon.ca and the carrier/tracking wasn't canada post, it was AMZCA. They could not leave it at the nearest canada post for me to pick up so I had to schedule a meet up on phone and now I will be on the look out for them to come back.
Is amazon.ca now always going to use AMZCA? I preferred canada post cause they either put it in my inbox or leave it at canada post for me to go and pick up. AMZCA makes the process feel less fluid and more dependable.

Today, I just got my first delivery via Amazon.ca's own delivery service. I've noticed they are using UPS far less. In the past few weeks, most of my orders have arrived via Canada Post. I have to wonder if Amazon is phasing out their relationship with UPS. Personally, I'd rather have any other service deliver rather than Canada Post. (More than once a delivery person will record they made a delivery attempt when I know full well they didn't. UPS is so much more reliable.) I called Amazon.ca's customer service and was told I couldn't choose a particular carrier as a preferred one.

I just received an email about a shipment that is coming through Amazon's delivery service. Does anyone know how it works? Is it like UPS? Do they need your buzz code to get in? I hate UPS for this very reason and I prefer Canada Post because they bring it right to my door but with UPS, it's always an issue.

This has happened multiple time now. Package said it would be delivered today by 9pm. Ok. Tracking shows no updates since arriving at an Amazon facility earlier in the week, but whatever. Get home and I get an update at 6. Package is delayed in transit. It departed the facility at 4:22pm today. The facility is across the country.
This has happened multiple times now, almost always when Amazon ships using their own service. I get stuff can be delayed or late, but how in the hell is your system telling me that a package that hasn't even left the facility located across the country is going to be delivered by 9pm and only update it 3hrs before. How does that even work?? That's not tracking that's guessing and guessing wrong.
Is anyone else noticing an uptick in this type of crap??

yeah it really sucks but not much we can do right now due to the pandemic, even all my other orders from Newegg, eBay, and BestBuy are doing the exact same thing and its super frustrating because at least give us a late date instead of it being completely wrong
