I applied for the Amazon credit card. I got a 740ish credit score. I got approved for the City Premier about 2 months ago. I also have an Apple Credit Card, PNC Rewards, Amex Blue Cash Everyday. My income is 100k and I have no rent or mortgage payment.
When I applied for the Amazon credit card, I was told I would get a decision later. Does not getting instantly approved mean I’m most likely declined. Have others also been told to wait on approval decisions?

Did I make a mistake doing this? I got 60 free dollars to use as a gift card for an item I wanted since I was approved however I plan on never using Amazon visa credit card. They said there was no fees and I didn't have to use my Amazon visa first.

knock yourself out, although the big mistake here was accepting such a low sub. Mine was $150 and i think its gone up to as much as $200. It is a great card tho, why wouldn’t you want 5% cash back on all amazon purchases. If you’re not a credit card person just pay it off right after it posts (although not typically advised, but its not the worst thing ever). Better you just use autopay tho.
