I think most folks here won’t be fooled by Prime Day “deals”, but what isn’t heavily publicized are the extra 20% off deals through Amazon Warehouse (open box), which is on top of the open box discounts.
Because the extra 20% off doesn’t apply to all Amazon Warehouse products (you have to click open box offers on a product and look for the extra 20% off) there’s a couple ways I shop for these:
I keep my wishlist (or saved for later) list handy for specific items so I can check one-by-one if they qualify for the 20% off. If it doesn’t qualify this time, it may the next time. I’ve kept some items on the list for 1-2 years, but eventually been able to purchase. Because open-box has more limited quantities, this helps me act quickly to ensure I can get items that I’ve had my eye on. This also helps me ensure the price (including the open-box + 20% off) is actually a good deal, since Amazon does sometimes adjust the pricing to make discounts look deeper.
For a type of item (not a specific model), I’ll search within the “Amazon Warehouse Deals” once Prime Day is live. If you Google “Amazon Warehouse” and click through, there’s typically a banner promoting the extra 20% off. If you click that, it will set the search bar so you can search within the qualifying items.
You can also browse the deals by category if you don’t have anything specific in mind and need inspiration. Of course, this is time-consuming and may also lead to unintended purchases :)
And for those scared about open-box, the full Amazon return/exchange policy applies. I’ve probably bought 40-50 items using this promo and only returned/exchanged less than 5 purchases.
Amazon is holding 20% off of its warehouse stock with codes "WDEARLY20 and WDEARLY" via [Slickdeals] (http://slickdeals.net/f/8910119-prime-members-amazon-warehouse-deals-coupon-extra-savings-20-off) for prime members.

I've compiled some of the noteworthy deals and posted the prices after discount (I didn't link anything though). The IEM, Dap, and DAC selection isn't very detailed though. Some of these prices are color dependent. I've bought from Amazon Warehouse before without any problems.
Got nuts and let us know if you bought anything. Post any other deals.
